About NAOMS

The Nepalese Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (NAOMS), established in 2011, is the official national body representing oral and maxillofacial surgeons in Nepal. Since its inception, NAOMS has been dedicated to advancing excellence in clinical care, education, and research in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

NAOMS plays a pivotal role in shaping the specialty at both national and international levels. It collaborates closely with the Japanese Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, particularly at the Annual NAOMS Postgraduate Meet, fostering training and academic exchange for future surgeons.

The association also serves as a Council Member and Local Association of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS), proudly representing Nepal in the global OMFS community.

Our Key Initiatives and Milestones:

    • Successfully hosted the First International Congress of NAOMS
    • Organizes the Annual PG NAOMS Meet, fostering mentorship and academic growth
